Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf has sharply criticized the United States after 21-hour talks in Islamabad failed to produce a breakthrough, saying Washington still needs to “earn” Tehran’s trust after past conflicts and the latest stalled negotiations. His remarks add to Iran’s growing pressure campaign after state media blamed “excessive” and “unreasonable” U.S. demands for the collapse of the talks, deepening uncertainty over the ceasefire and raising fears of renewed confrontation.
