N K Agarwal| TNNRamgarh: Police have busted an illegal mini gun factory operating from a house in Dutto village under the Bhurkunda outpost area and arrested a husband-wife duo allegedly involved in manufacturing firearms.Addressing media on Wednesday, Ramgarh SP Mukesh Kumar Lunayat said the action was carried out following a tip-off. Police raided the house of one Dinesh Vishwakarma, a blacksmith by profession, and unearthed the illegal arms manufacturing unit.“The accused, Dinesh and his wife Nutan Devi, both natives of Lesariganj in Bihar’s Nawada district, were arrested,” he said adding that another family member has been detained for questioning.According to the SP, the family had been living in the village and working as blacksmiths for the past 10 years.During the raid, police seized three unfinished pistols bearing a “Made in Japan” mark, springs used in magazines, a grinding (lathe) machine, a welding machine and several other tools used in the manufacture of firearms.
