Varanasi: In a notable international academic recognition, Shyam Kamal, associate professor in the department of Electrical Engineering at IIT- BHU has been nominated to serve as an Area Chair for the prestigious International Conference on Automation, Robotics and Applications (ICARA 2027).The conference is scheduled to be held from Feb 25 to 27, 2027, in Paris, France, and will bring together leading researchers, academicians, engineers, scientists, and industry experts from across the world working in the fields of automation, robotics, artificial intelligence, and advanced control technologies.Shyam Kamal’s appointment as Area Chair is a recognition of his significant academic and research contributions in the domains of automation, robotics, intelligent control systems, and emerging engineering technologies. His nomination further highlights the growing international visibility and research excellence of IIT-BHU in advanced technological research and innovation.IIT-BHU director Prof Amit Patra said Shyam Kamal’s recognition at an international platform reflects the quality of research and academic excellence being pursued at the Institute.
