Srinagar, Aug 02: Seven Officer Trainees of the Indian Corporate Law Service (ICLS), recruited through the UPSC All India Civil Services Examination 2023, have reached Srinagar as part of their domestic study tour, also known as Bharat Darshan.
The trainees are visiting the Union Territory to gain exposure to the regulatory and enforcement work of the office of the Registrar of Companies (ROC J&K) and to meet dignitaries and Central Government officials posted in the region.
The tour of the trainees is restricted to three days, and they shall depart for the UT of Ladakh on August 5, 2026, in the forenoon.
Profile of Officer Trainees:
– Dr Issac Jose – Thrissur, Kerala. Holds an MBBS degree from Kerala University; served as a Resident in Cardiology for five years prior to joining ICLS.
– Parth – Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Holds B.A. (Hons.) in Political Science from Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi, and LL.B. from MMH College, Ghaziabad; worked as a Lawyer before joining the Service.
– Dethe Sagar Shamrao – Jalgaon, Maharashtra. Holds B.Sc. in Zoology from Fergusson College, Pune; joined ICLS without prior professional experience.
– Himanshu Kumar – Muzaffarpur, Bihar. Holds B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Delhi; worked as a Data Scientist for two years before joining.
– Mitul Dabhi – Surat, Gujarat. Holds an MBBS degree from Sumandeep Vidyapeeth, Vadodara; worked as a doctor prior to joining the Service.
– Apoorva Jagbharia – Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Holds B.A. (Hons.) in Political Science from Indraprastha College, University of Delhi, and a postgraduate degree in Political Science and International Relations from JNU; joined ICLS without prior professional experience.
– Navneet Mishra – Gonda, Uttar Pradesh. Holds B.Tech. in Chemistry from IIT Bombay; worked as a Biomedical Scientist for three years before joining.
The trainees come from different backgrounds and hail from various states across the country.
