New Delhi, A call for the need for continued interdisciplinary engagement to address pressing global and societal issues resounded at a seminar at the Delhi University‘s College here on Wednesday.
The daylong ‘Echoes of Change: Voices from Art, Governance, Health & Environment’ seminar brought together distinguished alumni from the college and eminent personalities from diverse fields.
Addressing the gathering, Anju Srivastava, principal of Hindu College, called the summit an effort to foster meaningful conversations across disciplines.
“Echoes of Change aims to challenge inherited narratives, encourage critical engagement, and inspire actionable ideas for societal progress,” she said.
The event was structured into four thematic panel discussions.
One of the sessions that explored books saw the reading of the introduction to ‘History that India Ignored,’ authored by Prem Prakash, founder and chairman of ANI.
Several people selected for the UPSC in the latest civil services exam were felicitated at the event.
A session discussed the growing role of women in shaping economic and governance frameworks, while others explored arts and culture and health.
