Itanagar: Security forces arrested a suspected drug peddler and seized 12.2 grams of heroin worth about Rs 1 lakh during a joint operation in Arunachal Pradesh’s Tirap district, officials said on Tuesday.A joint team of the Assam Rifles, Arunachal Pradesh Police and the CRPF detained the suspect while he was moving towards Club Colony. A search led to the recovery of the contraband and a mobile phone.The accused was identified as Wangpan Lowang, a resident of Longliang village under the Laju police station jurisdiction.
