Mumbai: HCG Cancer Hospital, Colaba and Asian Cancer Institute (ACI), Cumballa Hill have announced a strategic collaboration to strengthen access to cancer care.

According to HCG, the institutes will be leveraging clinical capabilities, infrastructure, technology and professional expertise as part of this collaboration.

The partnership will focus on providing patients with comprehensive multidisciplinary cancer treatment, ease patient navigation and academic, training and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

HCG added that both the institutes are working on establishing standardized clinical pathways and multidisciplinary collaboration to simplify a patient’s journey as they undergo treatment.

Dr. Manish Mattoo, Executive Director and CEO, HealthCare Global Enterprises Limited said, “Cancer treatment today requires more than individual clinical interventions. It demands multidisciplinary expertise, advanced technology, evidence-based protocols and seamless coordination across specialties. Through this partnership, patients will benefit from a model where clinical expertise, technology and hospital infrastructure come together around the individual patient’s needs, rather than requiring the patient to navigate a complex healthcare system independently.”
