Kolkata: Calcutta High Court on Wednesday declined to interfere with the single bench order directing the principal secretary, information and cultural affairs department, to consider the representation by Tollywood film directors and submit the decision of the govt to the court.The state had challenged the single bench order before the division bench of Justice Tapabrata Chakraborty and Justice Reetobroto Mitra on the ground that the dispute related to an agreement between two trade union bodies, and therefore the principal secretary had no role to play in this regard. The division bench sent back the matter for hearing before the bench of Justice Amrita Sinha and directed the state to make its representations there.
