Ramgarh: Justice Deepak Roshan of Jharkhand high court laid the foundation stone for a proposed ground-plus-three-storey District Bar Association building near the Ramgarh civil court on Saturday.The event was attended by Justice Roshan and his wife Sarika Bhushan. Principal district and sessions judge Md Taufiqul Hassan, deputy commissioner Rituraj, superintendent of police Mukesh Kumar Lunayat, principal judge of the family court Rajiv Anand, and additional district and sessions judge-I Vishal Srivastava were also present.Justice Roshan said advocates are the backbone of a vibrant justice delivery system and play a crucial role in ensuring accessible, speedy and equitable justice. He stressed the need for modern infrastructure and better working conditions for lawyers. “The proposed multi-storey building would provide advocates with improved facilities for study, consultation and day-to-day judicial work while enhancing Ramgarh’s judicial infrastructure,” he said.Principal district and sessions judge Md Taufiqul Hassan said close coordination between the bench and the bar was essential for effective and efficient delivery of justice.Deputy commissioner Rituraj assured full administrative and technical support from the district administration for timely construction of the building.Ramgarh Bar Association president Anand Agrawal said the project would significantly strengthen judicial infrastructure at the Ramgarh civil court.
