Hazaribag: A 24-year-old man reported missing from Hazaribag was traced to Jashpur in Chhattisgarh and safely recovered, police said on Monday. Guddu Kumar told police he had gone there in search of work and had not been abducted or coerced.Katkamdag police had registered a missing person case on Aug 22 after Guddu Kumar, son of Kailash Paswan and a resident of Rewali village under Katkamdag police station limits, went missing.Hazaribag SP Aman Kumar said a police team recovered him from Jashpur. During questioning, he told police that he had left home voluntarily on Aug 4 without informing his family. He first travelled to Hazaribag town, then reached Tilaiya railway station and boarded a train to Jashpur.After his recovery, he was brought to Katkamdag police station, where his statement was recorded and legal formalities were completed before he was reunited with his parents.
