Hassan: Deputy commissioner KS Latha Kumari Thursday said the 14-day festival would allow public darshan on 12 days, excluding the opening and closing days.Lakhs of devotees from across Karnataka and neighbouring states are expected to visit the temple during the festival. The district administration is fully prepared to organise the Hassanamba Jatra Mahotsava, she said.With all seven taluks of Hassan district declared drought-affected, the festival will be celebrated with devotion and enthusiasm while avoiding excessive grandeur and adhering to traditional practices, she said.Special programmes are also being planned as part of the celebrations.
