Kanpur: Sachendi police on Wednesday externed a habitual offender, identified as Ramji Tiwari alias Nitin Tiwari, from the district for three months.According to police, the action was taken in view of the criminal activities of Tiwari, a resident of Dharmagadpur village in Kanpur Nagar.Officials said the action was taken following directions issued by the competent authority.To ensure compliance with the externment order, police personnel visited the accused’s village and made a public announcement through drum-beating (dugdugi), informing residents about the action taken against him.
