Guwahati: Neeraj Sarmah, a student of St Vivekananda English Academy at Maligaon in Guwahati, has earned the national runner-up title at the National STEM Quiz 4.0, organised by the Gujarat Council on Science and Technology under the Gujarat govt. The event took place in Ahmedabad recently.The quiz witnessed registration from over 15 lakh students from across the country. From Assam, only four students advanced to the higher stages of the competition, and Neeraj was the sole participant from the state to qualify for the Grand Finale in Ahmedabad. In the final round, he finished second after missing the top spot in a tie-breaker.
