Patna: Governor Syed Ata Hasnain and chief minister Samrat Choudhary on Sunday paid tributes to former prime minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his death anniversary at Patliputra Park here.The governor and chief minister offered floral tributes at Vajpayee’s life-size statue and paid their respects.Rural development minister Shravan Kumar, agriculture minister Vijay Kumar Sinha, cooperative minister Ram Kripal Yadav, art and culture minister Pramod Kumar, MP Ravi Shankar Prasad, BJP state president and MLA Sanjay Saraogi, MLAs Ratnesh Kushwaha and Sanjay Kumar Gupta, MLC Kumud Verma, and other public representatives and social workers also paid floral tributes.Artists from the information and public relations department performed ‘aarti’ and sang Vande Mataram; national anthem; Bihar and patriotic songs on this occasion.
