Ahmedabad: Gujarat High Court will inaugurate an in-house-developed paperless court module under e-GujHC Project on Wednesday, marking a major step in digital justice delivery. The electronic filing solution will be launched, operationalising the roadmap set out in eGujHC Vision Document Version 1.0.Officials in HC administration said that the pilot would cover arbitration, tax and service matters, with phased expansion planned across jurisdictions. Designed to shift court work from paper-intensive processes to a paper-agnostic system, the platform offers a secure end-to-end digital workflow for judges, advocates, litigants and registry staff.Key features include role-based dashboards with real-time statistics; online filing for main cases, interlocutory applications, caveats and miscellaneous documents; multi-factor and biometric authentication; and system-generated pagination and indexing to ensure uniform page references across devices.Courtroom tools include AI-assisted filing scrutiny, touch-pen annotations on e-case files, and automated WhatsApp updates for filings, scrutiny status, hearing dates and orders.
