Ahmedabad: Gujarat education department has directed all non-govt aided secondary and higher secondary schools across the state to rectify discrepancies between the data recorded on the CTS and UDISE+ portals in two days.
The directive aims to ensure transparency in academic and administrative records for the 2026-27 academic year.
According to a circular issued by the commissionerate of schools, the state govt has designated UDISE+ data as the primary basis for making decisions related to various govt schemes, financial matters and administrative issues.
The data will also be used to determine the sanctioned strength of non-teaching staff, including clerks.
