GTA 6 launch is confirmed for November 2026 (hopefully) and the price leaks have got the gamers worried.

GTA 6 launch price has people worried and these leaks don’t help

Grand Theft Auto 6 or GTA 6 launch is expected later this year after multiple delays and once again the GTA 6 price leaks have people worried for the latest edition of the franchise. We have heard the rumours about the GTA 6 launching for around $100 (Rs 8,900 approx) but a new retailer tip suggests we could be paying even more for select versions of the GTA 6 game from Rockstar Games.

Most of the leaks are not officially confirmed and even the price teasers have not come from the official channel but the game groups are surely worried about the possible price hike this year.

GTA 6 Launch Price Leak News: What We Know

The latest GTA 6 price leak comes via online retailer Loaded which showed the game listed at $124.19 (Rs 11,050 approx) for the Xbox X and S series versions. While the shop website suggests the GTA 6 PC version will cost $84.19 (Rs 1,590 approx). The online listing shows both the GTA 6 game versions with a ‘Notify me’ button so it is quite possible the official prices could be changed closer to launch, and hopefully towards the lower end.

Seeing the GTA 6 PC version is surprising because the developer has hinted at the PC version launching at a later date and the consoles might get the first priority.

There have been concerns around the game being developed using AI but Rockstar Games has assured the new game has been developed by its team and not by using generative AI tools. Take-Two has obviously noticed the changing trends in the industry and how much AI is being deployed by different developers.

The parent company behind the popular GTA franchise claims that it will use AI but only for the tools and not creative inputs, which means the gameplay is being designed and developed by its workforce team. The CEO of the company, Strauss Zelnick was speaking during a recent earnings call, and mentioned that has been enthusiastic about the technology from day one and doesn’t see AI as a threat.
