New Delhi: Delhi govt will roll out a revamped electric vehicle (EV) incentive portal within the next four to five days to enable direct disbursal of subsidies to EV buyers through an Aadhaar-based direct benefit transfer (DBT) system, a senior govt official has said.Applicants seeking incentives under Delhi EV Policy 2026 will be required to register on the portal, where their claims will be verified before payments are processed through Public Financial Management System.Govt officials said the portal, which forms a key component of the policy, has been designed to ensure greater transparency, reduce delays and facilitate quicker payments to beneficiaries. It will be a single platform for processing all incentives through DBT, thereby eliminating paperwork and ensuring that the subsidies reach beneficiaries directly. The policy was approved by Delhi cabinet on Monday and comes into effect from July 1. It will remain in force until March 31, 2030.
