Panaji: The transport department has taken over the Blue Cab taxi counter at Manohar International Airport, Mopa, and handed it over to local taxi operators for management and operations.A formal agreement was signed between the department and the taxi operators to facilitate this transition.Transport director Pravimal Abhishek confirmed that the department is transferring physical possession of the counter to the operators. “As mandated by GMR, the operators will comply with all necessary operational conditions,” he told TOI.A similar arrangement is already in place at Goa’s Dabolim Airport, where a dedicated taxi counter is also managed by local operators.
