Mysuru: In a significant display of academic efficiency, Govt College for Women (Autonomous), Mandya, set a new benchmark by announcing the results of its post-graduate programmes for the 2025-26 academic year on the very day the examinations concluded.The results were declared for MA programmes in Kannada, sociology, history and economics, along with MSc in chemistry and MCom. Notably, the institution had achieved a similar milestone last month by releasing undergraduate results on the final day of examinations, underlining its commitment to prompt and transparent evaluation practices.The PG examinations commenced on Feb 3 and concluded on Feb 16 afternoon. The valuation process was completed by 4pm on the same day. In a remarkable turnaround time, principal Gururaja Prabhu K officially announced the results at 4.30pm, barely half an hour after the completion of the evaluation process.The principal stated that following the successful declaration of undergraduate results on Jan 31, the college once again demonstrated its capability to deliver timely results. He congratulated the teaching faculty and the examination wing staff for their co-ordinated efforts.He attributed the achievement to disciplined teamwork and effective use of technology, which enabled swift processing and tabulation of results. He reiterated the institution’s commitment to sustaining such standards in the interest of students’ academic progress.The timely declaration of results was welcomed by students, faculty and management. Among those present during the announcement were controller of examinations Ravikanth Lamani and other members of the examination committee.
