BEGUSARAI: A video of alleged rape and brutally assaulting a girl in a hotel room surfaced on the social media on Tuesday.The incident is claimed to be of Sunday of a hotel situated on NH 31 in the town area.Begusarai town police station Inspector -cum- SHO Satish Kumar Himanshu on Tuesday said the family of the victim lodged an FIR in this connection on Monday evening.In the video a youth could be seen pulling the girl by her hair. He is also seen thrashing her with slippers. The youth allegedly raped the girl in the hotel room also.” The youth has been identified as one Rohit Kumar of Bhagwanpur police station area. Another youth who is not directly involved has also been named in the FIR,” said the SHO.
