Bokaro: A fast-food outlet in Giridih district was sealed on Monday after three members of a family fell ill after consuming biryani.Acting on the directions of deputy commissioner (DC) Ramniwas Yadav, the food safety department conducted inspection of the outlet near Bhandaridih under the Muffasil police station limits and found various violations, especially a missing water quality test report.The department collected a sample of chicken biryani and sent it to the state food laboratory for testing. The outlet was fined Rs 10,000 and ordered to stop food operations until all safety standards are met, said officials.
