Panaji: Goa Forward Party (GFP) president Vijai Sardesai called upon Goa’s youth to come together, strengthen the organisation at the grassroots and play a decisive role in defeating BJP in the upcoming assembly elections.Sardesai said that young Goans must become the driving force for political change in Goa and urged the party’s youth to reach out to more youngsters, build a strong grassroots network and actively take up issues affecting the people.The party is strengthening its organisation at the booth, ward and constituency levels.Sardesai said Goa’s youth face serious challenges relating to employment, land, environment, rising costs and protection of Goa’s identity, and urged youngsters to enter public life and fight for their rights rather than remain silent spectators.
