Jaipur: Residents living near Suraj Maidan in Raja Park are increasingly troubled by persistent garbage piles and stray cattle in the area. The long-standing issue has not only raised concerns over cleanliness but also posed risks to public safety and health.Locals say garbage continues to accumulate at the spot, leading to foul smells and unhygienic conditions. While complaints to the Jaipur Municipal Corporation do lead to temporary clearance, the waste returns within two to three days, leaving residents frustrated with the lack of a permanent solution. The problem of stray cattle is even more serious. Large numbers of animals can be seen lingering around the garbage, creating a constant risk for passers-by. Residents often have to navigate carefully to avoid accidents.Raj, a local resident, said, “We have complained multiple times to JMC. The garbage is cleared for a few days, but it comes back again. The biggest concern is the stray cattle, which can be dangerous at times.”Another resident, Chitresh Agrawal, added, “This problem has now become a part of our daily lives. The unhygienic conditions and presence of animals affect children and the elderly the most. We need a permanent solution, not temporary fixes.”Residents are now hoping that authorities will take the matter seriously and implement measures to resolve the issue.
