Chandigarh: Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini on Friday intensified his attack on the Congress and AAP, dismissing poaching allegations made against him by AAP’s Sangrur MLA as baseless and fabricated.Accusing AAP of using such statements to mask its own failures, Saini alleged the party first deceived the people of Delhi with false dreams and is now repeating the pattern in Punjab. He further accused AAP of indulging in pressure politics and urged the party to fulfil its promises to the public. Saini said that while the Congress ruled for 55 years, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has transformed the nation’s image in just 11 years. He said that the Congress is failing to act as a responsible opposition, suggesting they study the life of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee to understand the role. The CM said that under Congress rule, the country was mired in corruption and development stalled, whereas PM Modi has elevated India’s global stature. MSID:: 128308290 413 |
