Palanpur: Four members of a family were killed and three others seriously injured after their car collided with a tanker on the national highway near Garamdi village near Santalpur in Patan district on Thursday.The impact was so severe that the car was completely mangled, leaving four of the seven occupants dead on the spot.All the victims belonged to Varahi village, and they were returning after visiting the Hajipir shrine.Santalpur police station inspector Nikul Panchal said that a case has been registered and further investigation is underway against the tanker driver.The deceased were identified as Javed Ghanchi (25), Akshar Ghanchi (47), Ahmed Ghanchi (77) and Madina Ghanchi (46).
