Prayagraj: Kaushambi police on Thursday arrested four men for allegedly attempting to extort money from a cattle trader.Police said trader BL Maurya of Kokhraj was travelling from Prayagraj to Unnao for business when five men intercepted his loader near the Kokhraj toll plaza on Wednesday night and demanded money. The accused also threatened him with dire consequences.The trader immediately dialled 112. A police team tracked the suspects and arrested four of them — Amresh Kumar, Mohd Hashim, Sunil Pal and Vivek Kumar, residents of Rae Bareli and Kada Dham. One of their associates managed to escape.
