Pune: Pimpri Chinchwad police on Thursday night raided a bungalow in Lonavla and arrested four youngsters for allegedly running an online share trading fraud racket. The suspects were identified as Monilal Atulkumar Modi (24) of Mehsana in Gujarat, Ravi Gokul Prasad Jat (21) of Rajgarh in Madhya Pradesh, Rudrapal Singh Chouhan (22) of Khandwa in Madhya Pradesh and Hansh Verma (19) of Borivli. “They were holding second-layer bank accounts in the fraud case,” said Pimpri Chinchwad police commissioner Vinoy Kumar Choubey. A team comprising senior inspector Ravikiran Nale and assistant inspector Pravin Swami arrested them while probing an online share trading fraud registered with Sangvi police station, in which a victim was defrauded of Rs98 lakh in Dec, last year.
