Jaipur: Former Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) president and ex-union minister Dr CP Joshi was honoured with the 7th Rajiv Gandhi Memorial Lifetime Achievement Award by the Rajiv Gandhi Cricket Club at a grand function at the RCA Academy here on Thursday.On this occasion, prizes were also given to the winning team of the 35th state-level Rajiv Gandhi Memorial Cricket tournament, Rajiv Gandhi Academy and the runners-up team, Sanskar Academy.In the award ceremony, leader of opposition in Rajasthan legislative assembly Tikaram Jully, MLA Rohit Bohra, MLA Rafiq Khan, MLA Amin Kagzi, deputy leader of opposition Ramkesh Meena, former secretary of AICC CP Mittal, Gopal Meena felicitated Dr CP Joshi by presenting him a turban, a shawl and a memento.

Former cabinet minister Brij Kishore Sharma, former MLA Ganga Sahay Sharma, former Ranji Trophy captain Vinod Mathur, former Ranji Trophy skipper Sanjay Vyas, former Ranji captain Mohammad Aslam, along with hundreds of players and dignitaries were present on the occasion.At the end of the function, Rajiv Gandhi Cricket Club secretary Mohammad Iqbal presented mementos to all the guests and expressed his gratitude, stated Dinesh Vijayvargiya, organising secretary, Rajiv Gandhi Cricket Club.
