WhatsApp is reportedly working on a Scheduled Chat feature that will let users draft messages in advance and send them automatically at a chosen date and time
The new feature, reportedly called ‘Scheduled Chat’, is expected to let users save a message in advance and have it delivered automatically at the selected date and time, without requiring manual intervention. This means users could schedule birthday wishes, anniversary greetings, or important reminders to be sent exactly at midnight or at a specific time. It could also prove useful for advance alerts during emergencies or time-sensitive situations.Initially, the feature is likely to be rolled out for group chats, with plans to extend it to individual chats based on user response. While message scheduling is currently available for business accounts, Meta is reportedly exploring ways to make it accessible to all users in the future.
