Kanpur: A fire incident allegedly occurred in the server cabin of Central Bank of India’s Subhanpur branch on Wednesday morning, gutting computers, an air-conditioner, furniture and forms, while cash and other items remained safe, police said.The blaze reportedly started at around 8.15am when a cleaning worker noticed smoke coming from inside.Police and fire brigade personnel reached the spot after receiving information and brought the blaze under control.Preliminary indications suggested that the fire was allegedly caused by a short circuit inside the cabin, but the actual cause and extent of the damage would be established after an investigation, police said.
