Srinagar, Aug 15: The Directorate of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA), Kashmir, celebrated the 80th Independence Day with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm on Saturday.
Director FCS&CA Kashmir Nazim Zai Khan hoisted the National Flag in the presence of Joint Director Shaheena Khan, Financial Advisor and Chief Accounts Officer Peerzada Ahtishamul Haq, Deputy Director Mohammad Rafeeq Bhat and other officers and officials.
On the occasion, the Director extended Independence Day greetings to the nation and employees of the department.
He appreciated the participation of employees in the celebrations and urged them to continue working with commitment and a spirit of public service.
Khan stressed the need to strengthen the delivery mechanism and ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach eligible beneficiaries in a transparent and efficient manner.
