Hyderabad: The Telangana Gazetted Junior Lecturers Association has urged chief minister & education minister A Revanth Reddy to immediately resolve issues concerning the 2023 batch of govt junior college lecturers and extend the breakfast and mid-day meal schemes to all govt junior colleges in the state.In an online representation submitted on Sunday to the CM, education secretary and director of Intermediate education, the association said the ongoing pilot implementation of the breakfast and mid-day meal schemes should be expanded statewide as nearly a month has passed since the academic year began.The association also sought immediate implementation of the Telangana high court’s favourable verdict on issues concerning the 2023 batch lecturers. It demanded sanction of annual increments, declaration of probation and resolution of other pending service-related issues. The representation further called for measures to strengthen government junior colleges and urged the government to respond without delay.The representation was submitted by association state president Dr Vaskula Srinivas and state secretary Dr Koppishetti Suresh.
