Prayagraj: Every court judgment provides a direction that ultimately enhances the dignity and glory of the legal profession, said Justice Neeraj Tiwari, while addressing a farewell function organized in his honour on Saturday.Justice Tiwari delivered a lecture on “Responsibility and Glory of the Legal Profession” at the Library Hall of the Allahabad HC Bar Association.The chief guest, Justice Siddharth Verma, of the Allahabad high court said that doing his duty with utmost care increases the dignity of the profession of law.Another high court judge, Justice Siddharth said that efforts with integrity to provide justice to victim raises the glory of legal profession.While presiding over the programme, another HC judge, Justice Ajit Kumar, said that in order to increase the glory of legal profession, one should accept the responsibility towards legal duties and perform it with utmost care.HC judge, Justice Abdul Shahid and former advocate general Neeraj Tripathi also attended the programme.Association president Santosh Kumar Tripathi welcomed the guests and Shree Ram Pandey, vice-president of association conducted the programme.Prominent among those who attended the programme included additional advocate general – Ashok Mehta, former secretary Pranesh Dutt Tripathi, chief standing counsel – Vijay Shankar Mishra, senior advocate – BN Mishra, Manoj Nigam, CP Upadhya, RP Tiwari, BD Pandey, Vishesh Rajvanshi and others.
