According to updates received, the first batch of approximately 101 Indian Students students is expected to arrive on 15 March, reaching New Delhi at 9:55 AM and Mumbai at 4:15 AM. The students are scheduled to depart at 1:25 AM from Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan, Armenia, and will travel via Dubai before reaching India.

Most of the students in this batch are from Urmia University of Medical Sciences, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, and Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences.

Flights that were earlier scheduled to reach Mumbai on 14 March and 17 March scheduled flight have been cancelled, leading to changes in the evacuation schedule.

Dr Mohammad Momin Khan, National Vice President of the All India Medical Students Association, is in continuous contact with the students and is closely monitoring the situation. He has shared his contact details with the students to provide support and coordination during the evacuation process.

Students from Isfahan and Arak, who are currently staying in their hostels, have requested AIMSA to raise their concerns for faster relocation.

Meanwhile, some students from Islamic Azad University and Iran University of Medical Sciences, including those relocated from Tehran, have reached Azerbaijan as part of the evacuation route, while others are travelling towards the border.

Another group of students has successfully reached Tabriz from Qom, where they stayed overnight and are now moving towards the Armenia border.

Additionally, students from Kerman were relocated to Qom on 13 March evening, while students from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences are also currently present there awaiting further evacuation arrangements.
