A conference souvenir and the latest edition of the institutes research journal were also released during the inaugural session.

Ghaziabad: Artificial Intelligence should be used to augment human intelligence rather than replace it, with future business leaders expected to prioritise ethics, accountability and collaboration alongside technological advancement, speakers said at the AIM-PEACE 2026 international conference organised by Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad.

The conference brought together academicians, researchers, industry leaders and policymakers from India and abroad to discuss the role of AI in management under the theme ‘AI in Management for People, Ethics, Accountability, Collaboration & Enterprise (AIM-PEACE 2026)’.

In his inaugural address, Shishir Jaipuria, Chairman of the Seth Anandram Jaipuria Education Society, said the growing adoption of AI raises important questions about the future role of human leadership.

“As AI becomes pervasive, the question before us is what roles humans, particularly leaders, would play. The new-age leadership should focus on people, ethics, accountability, collaboration and enterprise. Such leadership will help organisations grow while contributing to India’s vision of becoming a developed nation by 2047,” he said.

Speaking at the conference, Vishal Talwar, Chief Operating Officer at the University of Southampton, highlighted the importance of international collaboration in AI research and stressed the need for management practices that balance technological innovation with ethical responsibility.

Technology leader Pramod Kumar said AI-led innovation must be guided by ethics, accountability and human values, while calling for stronger collaboration between academia and industry to build responsible AI-driven enterprises.

Paramjit Singh Gill, Chief Executive Officer of Globus Spirits, discussed the role of AI in improving operational efficiency while maintaining governance, transparency and stakeholder trust.

The conference also featured four technical sessions covering topics such as the future of work and human-AI collaboration, AI-driven marketing, innovation and entrepreneurship, and sustainable finance. Researchers from institutions in India and overseas presented papers on AI-enabled decision-making, workforce analytics, ESG, digital transformation and responsible AI adoption.
