Shivamogga: Former DCM KS Eshwarappa on Saturday hinted that he would join BJP rather than join any other political party.Reaffirming his loyalty to BJP, Eshwarappa said he has brought certain internal issues and confusions to the attention of party leaders and once these matters are resolved, he will return to BJP. However, he clarified that he would never join any other political party, claiming that he got offers from Congress and Samajwadi Party.Criticising the ruling Congress govt for its internal power struggles, Eshwarappa urged Congress leaders to apologise to the public for neglecting governance.Meanwhile, in a separate development in Shivamogga, Rashtrabhakthara Balaga leader KE Kantesh, who is the son of Eshwarappa, expressed deep concern after a special intensive revision (SIR) process identified 56,725 voters as unavailable in Shivamogga city, which has a total of 2,77,000 voters — including 9,131 deceased, 12,253 untraceable, 29,811 permanently shifted, and 5,521 voters registered elsewhere.To prevent eligible voters from being disenfranchised, Balaga announced that its booth level agents (BLA-2) are assisting local officials across all polling booths to verify the list, while keeping its office at Kalyana Mandira in Shivamogga open until Aug 17 to help residents verify their electoral roll status.
