Reports said her husband, Frank Piacenti, was also stabbed but is expected to survive. But later, Bloomberg fact checked the claim, noting that Frank was not injured.

32-year-old Erin Piacenti was of Chester, New Jersey. According to her LinkedIn page, Piacenti worked as the Vice President of Business Selection and Conflicts for Bank of America. Her office was a few blocks away from where she was stabbed to death.
Yahoo News reported citing her social media handles that she was married to Frank Piacenti. They reportedly got married in August 2024, Yahoo News reported, citing their marriage photos on Erin’s social media handles.
Bank of America also acknowledged the deah in a statement to CTV News. “We are shocked and deeply saddened by the tragic loss of our colleague,” it read. “She was a valued teammate who will be greatly missed. Our hearts go out to her family and all of her loved ones.”
