Kanpur: Under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, chief guest MP Ramesh Awasthi and guest of honour Surendra Maithani MLA distributed equipment to persons with disabilities at School for Blind in Nehru Nagar on Friday.The two guests inaugurated the function with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and thereafter distributed distributed tricycles (50), motorized tricycles (5), Braille kits (49), smart canes (48), hearing aids (38), MRO kits (63), and wheelchairs (7) to 260 differently-abled individuals.Additionally, sanction letters were distributed to beneficiaries of the Backward Classes Welfare Department’s marriage grant scheme and ‘O-Level’ scheme.
