Patna: The Election Commission has launched a special campaign to enrol left-out voters and eligible youths and the exercise also being implemented in Bihar, a communiqué from the office of the state chief election officer (CEO) said on Thursday.The exercise will be completed within a month through booth-level special camps to identify such persons. Booth-level officers (BLOs) will conduct house-to-house verification and facilitate registration by filling Form-6 as per rules.Before registration, BLOs will show the list of identified persons to booth-level agents (BLAs) of recognised political parties. Electoral registration officers (EROs) will also share booth-level lists of enrolled voters with party representatives.Camps will be held at polling booths, as well as in night shelters, labour colonies and for homeless people and those from weaker sections.Meanwhile, Tirhut graduate constituency has the highest number of electors among the four graduate seats of the legislative council going to the polls on Oct 23, at 1.43 lakh. The four seats together have 4.92 lakh voters, including 3.55 lakh males, 1.37 lakh females and 34 transgenders. The four teacher constituencies have 40,253 voters.
