An earthquake of magnitude 3.3 struck Leh in the Union Territory of Ladakh on Friday evening, officials said.
According to the National Centre for Seismology, the tremor occurred at 6:21:17 pm IST. The epicentre was located at latitude 35.07° North and longitude 74.93° East, with a focal depth of 10 kilometres.
There were no immediate reports of loss of life or damage to property, officials said.
