Prayagraj: Police on Wednesday arrested 31-year-old e-rickshaw driver Chandrabhan Singh of Jalaun for allegedly strangling his wife to death after a domestic dispute on Tuesday evening. Police said he also suspected his wife’s character. Singh was living with his wife and children in a rented house in Laxmipuram colony under Phaphamau police station limits.On Tuesday evening, the couple had a heated argument, after which the husband allegedly strangled his wife and fled. Their children were playing outside at the time. When they returned, they found their mother unconscious and alerted the neighbours. The body has been sent for post-mortem.
