Ganderbal, Sept 07 : A search operation was launched in the Thune area of Kangan in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district after a boy and a girl jumped into a power canal, officials said.
An official said that the duo jumped into the power canal in Kangan.
He said that soon after receiving the information, police reached the spot and launched a search operation to ascertain the whereabouts of the duo, with locals also joining the efforts.
Meanwhile, the circumstances surrounding the incident are not immediately known, while further investigation is underway.—(KNO)
