The singer, who rose to fame in 2008, took to her social media account in order to share the news that she will be making a comeback to the stage in a secret live performance. Taking to the stories section, she posted, “I’m doing a secret intimate gig in London on the 5th of July, next month, and I would love nothing more than for some of you to attend.”She added that fans will have to apply for a ballot in order to be considered for attendance, and that only a few people will be selected. Her post further added, “Please visit the link below and leave your details if you want to come. It’s only small capacity, so we can only select a few, but really looking forward to it, I will sing some new songs.”Duffy, whose real name is Aimee Anne Duffy, last appeared on stage when she performed at the O2 Arena in London for Capital FM’s Jingle Bell Ball in 2010.

Earlier this year, it was reported that Duffy would finally be opening up about what happened to her in the past 15 years in a documentary. The project is currently in production and will also mark her major return to the screen since 2010.
