New Delhi: Abhinav and Abhimanyu, two of the three students of Delhi University’s Faculty of Law, accused of stalking and harassing two women students in north Delhi’s Mukherjee Nagar Wednesday night, were sent to judicial custody of 14 days after they were arrested Saturday. A senior police officer said that after two days, a judicial test identification parade will be held. A search is on to apprehend the third accused in the case. As per the complainant, the incident took place around 9.30pm when she was with her woman friend near Hakikat Park.A senior police officer said one of the youths allegedly remarked from the car, saying, “Red suits you.” When one of the women objected to the act and asked them not to misbehave, the men allegedly became aggressive and started abusing her.When the women stopped near Old Gupta Colony to film the vehicle, the SUV also stopped. The occupants then allegedly tried to push the women students inside the vehicle. The SUV in which the accused were travelling has at least 18 pending challans amounting to Rs 33,000.Most of the challans against the vehicle were for speeding and using tinted glass. “All the challans were pending,” a source added. The car was found in a parking area in outer Delhi’s Bhalswa Dairy.The police had nabbed them Friday, and the arrest happend Saturday, when the duo were produced in court.
