Pune: A truck driver, Nasir Mohammed Shah Mohammed (36) of Chikhali, died while the truck’s cleaner, Arjun Vhipat (24), also of Chikhali, suffered injuries after their truck rammed another heavy vehicle from behind near Dari Pul on the Katraj–Dehu Road bypass at around 3.30 am on Friday. According to Ambegaon police, the other truck did not stop at the spot after the impact.Police said that the truck driven by Nasir was heading towards Navale Bridge from Satara when it crashed into another truck travelling ahead of it. The impact was so severe that the truck’s cabin got detached from the main body.
