Srinagar, July 08 : Police on Wednesday arrested the driver of a vehicle that hit and injured three CRPF personnel deployed for the ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra near the Taingan Bypass in the Nowgam area of Srinagar, officials said.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the vehicle struck three personnel of D Company, 148 Battalion CRPF at the Taingan Bypass in Nowgam.
The official said the driver involved in the incident was arrested shortly after the accident.
The injured personnel were immediately shifted to Ujala Cygnus Hospital, Nowgam, where they are undergoing treatment, he said.
Police have registered a case and further investigation is underway.—(KNO)
