Seager said she was “incredibly grateful to those who saved him” and said the much loved pet was “charming and full of character, we love him to bits”.
Jon Walker, from Falmouth Community Fire Station, said the dog was on the apex of a two-storey house and had got there through a first floor bedroom window which opened onto a pitch of the roof.
He said the team had to avoid frightening the dog to ensure it was brought down to the ground safely during the rescue.
