Nagpur: Dharampeth Krida Mandal (DKM) teams in both the girls and boys section registered contrasting victories to qualify for the semifinals of the youth basketball championship in Season 8 of Khsadar Krida Mahotsav at the Shivaji Nagar courts on Thursday.In the girls’ section, Netra Damke fired a game-high 29 points as DKM defeated NASA 63-7 to face Gurudeo Nagar Krida Mandal in the semifinal. The GKM outfit rode on the 28-point effort from Palak Panchbudhe to outclass Sanskar Krida Mandal 52-20.In an exciting girls’ quarterfinal, Saraswati Kanya Sangk (SKS) edged out Nutan Bharat Yuwak Sangh (NBYS) 59-45 to set the semifinal clash with Spartan. The Spartan outfit surprised hosts Shivaji Nagar Gymkhana (SNG) 53-46.In the boys section, DKM defeated Phoenix 44-35 to face Players Basketball Gymkhana (PBG).
