Dumka: The Deoghar district administration has asked telecom operators to ensure mobile connectivity and high-speed internet services in the temple town during the month-long Shravani Mela, which begins on July 30.Deputy commissioner (DC) Saurabh Kumar Bhuwania on Monday held a meeting with representatives of government and private telecom service providers to ensure robust telecom infrastructure for the lakhs of devotees expected to visit the town during the fair.The DC instructed operators to enhance network bandwidth, upgrade system capacity and take measures to prevent network congestion and call drops, and avoid slow internet speeds during the festival.Telecom companies assured the district administration that temporary mobile towers will be installed at strategic locations before the fair begins.“Lakhs of devotees from across India and abroad will come for the mela, and ensuring uninterrupted communication and reliable high-speed internet is one of our top priorities,” he said.
